Friday, September 24th Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport – Town of Queensbury & Downtown Glens Falls

* 5:00 pm: Balloon Launch of 60+ balloons including some special shape balloons
*

5:30pm – 9:30pm: The City of Glens Falls is partnering with the Adirondack Balloon Festival to kick off the weekend’s events. Glen Street will be closed off to make one big block party so folks can safely enjoy the downtown fun.
o 5:30pm-7:30pm: The Boothill Band perform classic country hits
o 7:30pm-9:30pm: One of the last chances to see Bobby Dick & The Sundowners rock Glen Street. Bring your dancing shoes.
o Over 50+ classic cars on display.
o Meet & greet balloonists who will be showing off their balloon baskets.
o Upstate Model Railroaders will have a model train set up on the sidewalk and then go downstairs to their headquarters where trains are running on hundreds of miles of tracks.
o Shops and restaurants will be open.
o Childrens’ activities from regional not-for-profits
o 9:30PM: FIREWORKS from Centennial Circle!

Saturday, September 25th Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport – Town of Queensbury

* 5:00am – 11:00am: “Big Balloon Breakfast” – Airport Hanger
* 6:00am – 7:00pm: Civic organizations have food and beverages on site
* 6:30am Flight of 90+ balloons including special shapes
* 6:00am Fun Entertainment for kid, kite flying, rock climbing wall, Balloon Art Show, military aircraft display
* 2:00pm – 5:00pm DJ with music in the Entertainment Tent
* 4:00pm AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilot’s Association) Town Hall Meeting with Craig Fuller, President of AOPA
* 5:00pm Flight of 90+ balloons including special shapes

Sunday, September 26th Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport – Town of Queensbury

* 5:00am – 11:00am: “Big Balloon Breakfast” – Airport Hanger
* 6:00am – 5:00pm: Civic organizations have food and beverages on site
* 6:30am: Flight of 90+ balloons including special shapes
* 6:00am – 12 noon: Fun Entertainment for kid, kite flying, rock climbing wall, Balloon Art Show, military aircraft display
* 8:00am: Catholic Mass in Entertainment Tent
* 9:00am: Protestant Sunday Service in Entertainment Tent Sunday Afternoon
* 2:00pm – 5:00pm: Jonathan Newell Band performace
* 5:00pm: Flight of 15-20 balloons for people looking for a balloon flight at cost/person/ride
